The Cheviot House can accommodate up to 38 guests seated banquet style and 40 standing.

The Cheviot House is handicap accessible. There is a ramp for those who need mobility assistance.
There is free parking across the street from The Cheviot House available for guests to park at the First Financial bank parking lots as well as street parking. There is NO parking behind this building! Your vehicle will be towed.
We will gladly promote your event on our social media as long as it coincides with our mission.
We aim answer all communication within 48 business hours of receiving it. Any booking requests received on the weekend will be accessed within 48 business hours the following week.

Booking The Cheviot House

You can request to book your event online. You can email questions about booking to booking@thecheviothouse.com or call us at 513-919-2144.
When you click, "Request to Book" you'll be submitting your event for approval. Once the event is approved you will have 24 hours to pay the deposit, which is 50% of the total price in order to hold you date. You must pay your deposit to hold your date.
**If you have not paid the deposit within 24 hours, the date is reopened and is no longer held for your event.** The deposit is necessary to hold the date of your event.
Deposits are nonrefundable. Your balance is due the Wednesday before your event. We will meet to sign the paperwork and receive payment.
Please be advised that we do not issue refunds. Once booked, your deposit secures your event date. You have five days after submitting your 1st package payment to make any changes. We purchase items for each customizable event package; therefore, your deposit payment becomes nonrefundable after this initial period.

Event Set Up and Tear Down

Event booking includes time for both setup and cleanup within the purchased hours. If you require additional time beyond this, extra hours can be purchased at $75 per hour.
Trash should be removed at the end of your event, or you will be assessed a cleaning fee of $ 500 via your initial form of payment.
Guests must clean up after their event, including removing the trash to the available trash cans, taking down any of their additional decorations, etc. Failure to return the space to its original condition could result in a fee of up to $500 in cleaning costs charged to the initial form of payment.

Decorations

Our venue is beautiful as is, but feel free to bring your own decorations to add to the beauty.
Due to fire codes, open flames like candles or sparklers are not permitted. Candles on cakes are permitted.
We ask that you try not to affix anything to the walls. Tacks, staples, nails, tape or putty, command strips, etc. that will damage the wall are not allowed.
To affix decorations to the wall, painter’s tape is permitted
